The Business Case for Electrification

Transitioning your fleet to electric vehicles just makes sense. It saves money in the long term, it keeps your business ahead of predicted trends, and it’s better for workers and the community at large.

But making the transition can be confusing, which is why our friends at Breaking Barriers Collaborative are hosting two upcoming webinars to break it down for you!

Dec. 3, 10 a.m.: Oregon’s New EV Infrastructure & Incentives

Do you operate a fleet in Oregon? The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) and Department of Environmental Quality want your feedback at this webinar! At this webinar, Breaking Barriers Collaborative (BBC) and partners will discuss:

  • New public medium- and heavy-duty electric vehicle (EV) charging stations coming online along I-5 and I-84. ODOT is looking for feedback on the types of chargers and amenities that would best support fleets.
  • New Clean Fuels Advance Crediting program, which would provide financial incentives for EV adoption, and will soon be launched by the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality.

Dec. 9, 1 p.m.: Making the Business Case for Fleet Electrification in 2026

In this webinar, learn more about the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for electric vehicles, from heavy-duty to light-duty fleets, in the Pacific Northwest and nationwide. You’ll hear firsthand insights from Skanska, a national fleet operator currenting navigating the electric vehicle transition, and gain TCO insights from experts at BBC and the Environmental Defense Fund.

If you’re a business interested in potentially electrifying your fleet, Breaking Barriers Collaborative is now accepting applications for their 6th Fleet Electrification Accelerator cohort! This program simplifies EV adoption by equipping businesses with trustworthy resources and expert networks, enabling them to create cost-effective electrification plans and put them into action.

Want to learn how the Fleet Electrification Accelerator can help your business electrify? Join the upcoming informational webinar on December 15.
